Installation not showing up on domain

I have downloaded the .zip file, extracted the files, uploaded the files to my root directory.

This root directory is pointed to a temporary dns because I am creating this site while I am running my old Joomla site. Once we get this installed, then we will point the dns to this site.

When I pull up firefox or chrome, install just doesn’t show up. I chaned the config.php file to the proper settings per the hosting site MyHosting.com .

Steps I followed:
1. Downloaded .zip and created a mySQL database at MyHosting.com
2. Extracted .zip
3. ftp’d files into root directory provided by hosting provider.
4. moved config-sample.php file to desktop and edited it with the settings for the mySQL database.
5. ftp’d the config.php file to the root directory.
4. went to dns given by hosting provider and installation did not appear.

Not sure where to go from here.
