HI, I want to create a simple website that allows my few customers to login to my website and change their Interest Rates on a daily basis. The site will have a table display format that will show up to 10 or 12 of my customers’ rates for comparison purposes.

I am wondering if Tablepress could work for this.

    I think I need 3 main functions:

    1) user account login plugin that will keep user’s data separate from other users.

    2) some kind of database to store a users 3 or 4 fields that contain their Rate Data.

    3) some way to display the data from all users on a single table for row by row comparisons like this:

    User Date Rate1 Rate2 Rate3 Rate4
    UserA 2/14/2014 4.55 4.75 4.95 5.15
    UserB 2/14/2014 4.65 4.85 5.05 5.25
    UserC 2/12/2014 4.25 4.45 4.65 4.85
    UserD 2/9/2014 5 5.2 5.4 5.6
    UserE 3/1/2014 4.74 4.94 5.14 5.34
    UserF 3/1/2014 4.75 4.95 5.15 5.35

Can you offer any suggestions about this?

Thanks so much for the support!

    jm

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, TablePress can only show static table data to the user, but it does not have advanced querying mechanisms that would be necessary here. It also is not suited to give different users separate content editing capabilities.
You’ll have to look for a custom solution here, I’m afraid. Sorry for not having better news.

    Regards,
    Tobias

P.S.: Could a moderator maybe move this thread from “WP-Table Reloaded to the “TablePress” subforum, where it fits better? Thanks a lot!
