Header image low quality

  • Hello!
    I have uploaded two images as header images in the recommended size. When I open that picture file in preview, it looks fine. In the header though it’s not sharp.
    Can anyone help me out here?

  • Tyllhasse, what’s the size of your header image? If it’s too small, WordPress can expand it, it can lose some resolution.

    1260×240 it should be. have a look yourself at noblacknowhite.com
    even if i upload an image with 2MB and wp crops the part it needs, its still bad quality.
