Page not showing in Child Theme

  • Using Twenty Fifteen and created child theme with function.php and style.css.
    I new to child theme, and know little of coding.

    Do I have to create a page.php, if yes, what code should a add it?
    Tried duplcating the page.php from parent theme, however, it couldnt work. I must have missed out something.

    Need help and advice.

    The child theme will use templates if they are available, if not it will use the parent theme templates.

    If you copy page.php to your child theme and make changes to it, it will use it.
