Site keeps logging off while trying to customise theme

    I’m having trouble customising the theme on this site. I’ve used this theme on two other sites with no problems but every time I try to edit the backstretch theme or upload the logo or anything else in the customise section it logs me out and then when I get back in to do something and save, I get a message that says ‘cheating hey?’.

    I’ve disabled all the plugins but it’s still doing it. Do you have any idea why it might be doing this please? I really want to finish updating this site for my client.

    It’s the Sixteen Nine theme from Genesis and I have also posted help at their support team.

    Are you able to customize the Twenty Fifteen theme without issue?

    I’ve used another theme on there and it’s been fine but have not tried the Twenty Fifteen theme. However, the Sixteen Nine theme I’ve used on other sites with no issues at all.

    Not sure if it’s a theme issue, WordPress issue or hosting issue. I really don’t know where to turn.

    If you aren’t having trouble with any other theme, it’s likely the theme that’s the problem, even if it’s fine on other sites.

    As this is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

    Ok, thank you and I do understand and I have already submitted a support request to them. I just wasn’t convinced it is a theme issue but I guess I’ll wait and see. I will report back when it gets resolved in case anyone else experiences a similar challenge.
