having problems loading media files.

    I have a year old hp computer window 8.1 .I’am a WP virgin,I’m setting up a music website,Got a template Music pro. Anytime I try and load some media Mp3’s or even jpg’s It says error , files must be jpg ,gif or png….they are jpg’s..What I’m I doing wrong??

  • What program are you using to export the images? And this may be a stupid question but I have to ask, you haven’t manually changed the extension on the files right?

    The files are from various sources,some are straight from a phone,some been edited in irfan view to resize,i’ve loaded a few photos after 10 attempts,but when a try to load the same photo(a photo I know works,to test),error comes up,even though its loaded before.Even Mp3’s are being troublesome,and these are fine I used them on my previous website.I’ve not relabeled any extensions.

    It seems to be fine now,all the files are loading ok.I’m doing nothing differently,loading same files.All I can put it down to is the web connection being busy…maybe high user on fri night.Thanx for ideas and advice anyway.Cheers NellySlideGuitar
