Updates not working for themes/plugins "waiting for www.[mysite].com

Hi,

So i have been having millions of problems this week, and finally my theme (Camyno) released an update that will fix many of my problems and get my site ready to publish. However, whenever I click the update button, it doesn’t work. I click ‘update’ on any theme/plugin and it takes me to a blank page with ‘Update Themes” or “Update Plugins” at the top, and the wheel on my browser is turning like it is doing something, but NOTHING HAPPENS. I have even left it for an hour or two and my computer went to sleep before it did anything. Whenever I navigate away, my theme is not updated and it is clear that it was doing nothing the entire time.

And on the bottom of Chrome while the wheel is turning on the tab it says “Waiting for https://www.adventuresnsunsets.com…” which is my site. It says that for hours straight. What does this mean?

Some useful info:

– I have tried it on both Chrome and Safari. Upon clicking ‘update,’ both browsers seem to be ‘thinking’ for extended periods of time without anything happening. My Chrome is up to date.
– I have WordPress 4.1 Installed on Blue Host. Could it be something to do with Bluehost?
– I am guessing it isn’t my theme because it is the actual WordPress Update page on the dashboard not working, which is why I am posting here.
– I tried restarting and shutting down-waiting-turning on my computer
– It also does the same thing when I try and re-install WordPress 4.1
– I tried deactivating my plugins, still nothing

PLEASE HELP! I am about to pull all the hair out of my head. I don’t know much css/html so I don’t think I would be able to manually update, if that is even possible. I just want the new update of my theme!
