    Hi
I am setting-up a new site, WP is installed in the root mysite.com (“WordPress Address” under genelral) while the “Site Address” is mysite.com/test, until the design is finalized, and I put a WIP index.html on the root
With the both the stable 2.9.6 and the 2.9.8.1 development version the language menu and the language chooser widget does’nt work anymore, but if I set “Site Address” the same as “WordPress Address” anything works fine.

    Thanks

Edit: this is true only using Pre-Path, using Query it works

I thought I already gave some reply to this, is it a duplicate? Or maybe I forgot to push “Post” button … sorry.

Try to make it all consistent between “WordPress Address (URL)”, “Site Address (URL)” and .htaccess, as described in WP instructions https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

Besides, it is unusual to have “Site Address (URL)” to be a subfolder of “WordPress Address (URL)”, if this is what you did. It is usually other way around, or two different folders. I hope you will figure it out.

    Thank you for your reply.

WP is installed in root, I set Site Address to a non existent mysite.com/test only for developing, until the site is ready for prime time.
Right now, anyway, anything seems to work right again, maybe I missed some setting and I corrected without noticing.

    Tanks
