text on slider getting truncated even though

    Hi,

    the text on one of my sliders is not displaying correctly on https://www.twilightfairy.in (under the “social media influencer” heading) .. it truncates towards the end and appends “…”
    The text here is <250 characters as mentioned in the edit box.

    I have in fact faced another issue (no screenshots for that now) where I would update the slide, it would show the entire text on the website slider as well. and on the next refresh – all text would be gone from not just the slider but also vanish from the media library slider settings! If this is because of character limit issues they shd be handled differently IMHO.

    Pls tell how to fix the truncation of text. Thanks

    It’s 240 characters

    Ah, ok.. I see the problem.
    Basically “‘” and “&” are saved as html entities this way the length of that text grows to something > 250 char.

    ok using the long versions of these now..it manages to fit in less than 250 chars by chance.
