Videos breaking my layout in 2.2

I wrote about this in another thread, but noticed that thread has been marked as resolved, so I’m starting a new one. I hope that’s the right thing to do.

I just upgraded to 2.2 and now posts containing embedded videos are breaking my layout. I’ve deleted them all for now, since I don’t want a broken blog. What happens is, the video appears in the sidebar column and the text runs the full width of the page instead of staying in the column. The sidebar widget move to the bottom of the screen. It’s a total mess!

One thing I notice is that after I save the post, if I go back and look at the code, the param tags have been moved outside the object tags. Moving them back does no good – they keep getting changed.

But turning off WYSIWYG doesn’t help either. The code stays correct, but the page still breaks.

This happens even if I change the theme back to the defaut or some other theme.
