Announcement Spacing Problems

From breifly looking at the HTML the shortcode is generating, it looks like for one reason or another the last two announcements are being nested inside of “The Clone Wars 301: Clone Cadets” post.

I see you have a second timeline on another page, which is doing something similar.

I’m wondering if somehow something got set as a parent, or there is some sort of post relationship happening which is causing one to nest inside of the other.

If you can contact me via the contact form on my site, I’d be happy to take a look at the issue for you. All that I need from you is an export of your announcement posts, so I can import them to a local install of my own for testing. This is easily done via the ‘Tools > Export’ screen.

Once I receive an initial email, I’ll send you one back so you can attach the export. The sooner I have the files, the sooner I can take a look for you.

I have just release v1.1.5.6 which should help alleviate this issue. You may want to double check that the excerpt is truncating at the correct length. I re-wrote a function which may have altered it for you. I have also upped the limit to 500 characters for the excerpt.

Please let me know if you’re still facing the issue after the update.
