    Hey there firstly I really love this plugin, I love that someone presented this tool in exactly the straightforward manner it’s needed in.

    I’m having an issue with the page, and therefore the timed content, not refreshing on certain browsers.

    Chrome seems to always work while Safari and Firefox are intermittent.

    For instance if you look at my site https://piris-chicken.com/ the content is set to say wether the restaurant is open or closed. On Firefox and Safari it will say that it is closed even though the content has changed, no matter how many times you try to refresh the page.

    Whereas on Chrome it automatically shows you the most up to date content.

    Any ideas? I just integrated it into all my sites and now a lot of customers think my restaurants are closed. ??

    Thank you so much for your time!

    Hi, daradon.

    Sounds like a caching issue with the browsers and/or a caching plugin? What happens when you clear the cache in Firefox and Safari?.

    Thanks for your reply…

    It does seem like a caching issue but clearing the cache doesn’t help. I tried Safari and Firefox and on different machines.

    Also it’s occurring on multiple machines from multiple locations as different members of staff are also reporting the issue.

    Looking at the HTML source of your homepage, it appears that you’re running WP Super Cache on the site, and it says that the cached page was last created this morning:

    <!-- Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2015-02-03 02:01:23 -->

    If that cached page is what being served to your visitors, that would explain why they aren’t seeing that you’re currently open (assuming you’re not open at 2 in the morning).

    Very good idea!

    I deactivated WP Super Cache and cleared my cache but it’s still not displaying properly. It’s still saying it’s a cached page in Safari but in Chrome it says it’s a dynamic page now.

    I think I have to wait until I restart my computer but hopefully that will fix the issue from now on.

    Thanks again, I’ll let you know if it helps.
