After update, different resizing behavior using full width

After updating the plugin, my full-width slider is resizing differently.

Prior to the update, I set my slider width to 1100 pixels (the width of my site’s content) in the settings tab, but my slider images were 1600. By doing this, my slider image didn’t starting resizing until the browser window went below 1100 pixels. I liked this feature, but after updating the plugin, it doesn’t matter what width I set my slider to in the settings tab, it automatically uses the width of my image. So now my images resize sooner and get much smaller.

Anyone else in this same situation? Is there a setting I’m not seeing to get it to function the way it did before?
