Dashboard won’t show feeds just index.html from root

  • I was running WP 2.1.3 and this problem occurred for no apparent reason. I had 2 WP installations one at https://www.seoras.com and the other in a sub-directory https://www.seoras.com/gemica The dashboard in the second WP (gemica) started displaying the front page for the first WP instead if the normal feeds. I was told by my host that there was corruption in the first WP Db. To cut a log story short I have completely deleted the first WP and replaced it with a maintenance page and upgraded the second to 2.2 but the Dashboard is still displaying the index.html page form https://www.seoras.com/index.html rather than the normal feeds.
    Other than this everything else seems to be OK.
