No "manage" or "install" tab unde themes

  • I have an existing WordPress website. I now have decided to change my theme an after reading instructions on how to do this it all sounds simple.
    My problem is: After appearance->theme I do not get the option to install or manage themes as explained in all instructions. What could this be due to? And how do I proceed?
