• I am having a bit of an issue with WordPress SEO by Yoast.

For some reason I cannot change any of these settings:
    Focus Keyword
    SEO Title
    Meta Description

I change them, select update and they all revert to what they were. This happens on every page on my site.

I read some of the other posts with similar problems, tried their solutions, but none work.

I have IThemes Security on my site, so I wonder if that could be the issue. But, I have IThemes security on another site with WordPress SEO by Yoast and it works fine.

    Any ideas?

Really? Not a single reply in two weeks? Not even a response by Yoast?

    Wow. Great support.

@artman1988 what options have you tried so far? Also is this the first time you install this plugin?

This is not the first time I have installed this plugin.

I have tried disabling all the other plugins. I thought it was related to the IThemes security plugin, but that didn’t seem to have any effect.

I have installed this plugin for others on their sites with the IThemes plugin and it works fine.

So it currently works well on the other websites but not yours. What is the difference between those websites and yours?

That is a tough one. 3 of the sites are hosted on GreenGeeks hosting service. Another is on godaddy.

All are using different themes. I created child themes for all the themes. All have custom CSS. All are using some of the same plugins, some are different

This one is using the BigContact plugin and only one other is. The appointment calendar of BigContact is not working on this site either.

Not sure if it is related.

My inkling has been it is related to IThemes security, but I cannot find any info on what in partcular to look for.

So none of the websites that are currently working uses iThemes Security? If that is the case what happens if you disable iThemes Security? Has anyone reported this issue in the iThemes Security forum?

How much memory have you allocated to this website that is currently not working?

All the sites use IThemes security. Disabling it had no effect
Probably because some of the changes IThemes made I don’t think can be reversed.

What about the memory allocated to this site that is not working?

I have the same problem – I enter my focus keyword and my meta description, I hit Update, so the page analysis can do its thing and whoosh – they are both gone.

I have the same problem too. I have installed a default theme (twentyfifteen) and deactivated all of my plug-ins, same issue.

I doubt we are the only ones with this issue. Would be nice if someone from Yoast would chime in.
