Hashtag with national/local characters doesn't find any images

I’m trying out your plugin, but.The plugin doesn’t return any images if used with hashtags that contains swedish specific characters.”??????”
ex #sk?ne doesn’t return anything but #skane is OK.
Hastags with swedish characters works perfectly fine in Instagram itself.Is it a big or (filter)feature?
