My text editor was set to default. In order to set visual editor default, I deactivated all the plugins. After that visual editor became default. First I activated jetpack and logged out. Now I am unable to login in admin area “Redirect loop Error”. I took every single step described on

what version of wp are you using? what plugins (active and inactive) are there on the site? what theme are you using?

I am having a similar problem. 7 days ago, my site suddenly stopped working properly. Several of the plugins no longer appeared activated and I could not login.

I have used FTP to deactivate all plugins, then all themes, and have cleared my cache etc. but that did not resolve the problem. I have made no changes to the site, one morning it was working, the next day i couldn’t login.

The password I am using i am 100% certain is correct. But it won’t let me log in. When I go through the password reset process, It says to look out for an email. The email never arrives and yes, i’ve checked my junk mail. All other mail from wordpress still gets through to the correct email address, but the reset password doesn’t work and my correct login details don’t work either, so I am locked out of my site and have no idea what to do.

I’m a writer, I have no idea what version of WordPress I have without logging in to see. I am using the Hemingway theme and I have made no changes to anything but content (new posts) so have no idea why plugins stopped working and why I can’t login.

I’d be very greatful for any advice!

    Thanks everybody
I found the culprit. It was Cloudflare SSL. I disabled it & my problem was gone.
