    Hi,
There seems to be some sort of bug in the Registration Email Settings in the latest version of EM.

If I click Yes to Disable New Registration Email nothing at all is received by the user.

However if I click No to Disable New Registration Email then the correct EM registration email goes out.

I would have thought that this should be the other way round.

    Kind Regards

  • Hi,

That setting is for whether the standard WordPress registration email get sent out, not the version mailed by Events Manager.

    Hi Caimin,
Sorry I do not appear to have explained myself properly.

    The Option states:-
Check this option if you want to prevent the WordPress registration email from going out when a user anonymously books an event.

When I selected Yes to prevent the WordPress registration email going out, no email was actually sent. However on selecting the No option which effectively means you do want the WordPress registration email to be sent out then the version mailed by EM was sent out instead.

Should this not be the other way round ie. Selecting Yes should send the EM registration version and selecting No should send the WordPress standard registration email.

    Kind Regards

    KatieKat

Are you using No-User Booking Mode?

    Hi Caimin,
No I’m not using No-User Booking Mode.

I have the following options set.

    Enable No-User Booking Mode? No

Allow bookings with registered emails? No

    Kind Regards

sorry, no because this settings is for EM use only whether to send registration email or not.

    Apologies angelo,

I still do not understand the logic given the choice the options give and the way they are worded but happy that this is now working and can be classified as resolved.
