how to log in.

I’m new to WordPress. MY ISP installed it for me and I’m trying to figure how to access it. I can see the files using FTP, and open the wp-admin.php file

The first thing the WP help says about administring a blog is “log into the administrator page.” Then you can change the settings.

But it doesn’t say how to log in. What file to I browse to? Etc.

Then I do a search on “log in” and get a list of abstruse problems rather than the basics.

I get the sense that there are skipped steps in the documentation in the WP codex, and this is the first one of many.
