How do I reduce the white space on my homepage? Or trim the page height?

I vertically centered content in two columns to ensure they are middle-aligned, but now there is too much white space on the page.
If I remove the vertically centered attribute, the spacing works, but then the slides and text are not longer middle-aligned.

I’m sure there is a simple fix for this ?? Recommendation? https://www.danielandkelly.net

I’m not sure what you mean when you describe how you vertically centred things, because in the code it’s showing more than just an attribute. Are you saying you set an option in the dashboard to vertically centre things? Which theme is this regarding?

I bet “attribute” is the wrong word. I vertically centered within the Honeymoon theme by setting both columns’ vertical padding to -1 (top and bottom).

There is most likely a way to do this in your theme that does not require you adjusting the padding. I would really like to help but your question is difficult to understand. So when you remove the ‘vertical center’ your text is no longer middle aligned?

It looks like the Honeymoon theme uses ‘Drag and Drop Builder’ which is some form of a visual composer. Usually in these you would hardly ever need to touch the padding or margins to accomplish what you are talking about. Inside the text editor of their ‘Text/Image Block’ there is a middle align button, and most times each element of a theme or the row itself can be middle aligned.

My advice is to immediately reset your margins and padding to zero and to play around inside the editing functions of the rows and elements. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I’ll give it a shot.
