member page still shows after closing browser…

    Hi there,

    I’ve added the logout button as described in this forum and it works as expected however, if a session is ended by closing the browser etc, the protected page can still be viewed if going directly to it. Not logged in but page still shows. Should log out automatically when session ends (cookie) but doesn’t seem to. any ideas?

    A member has to click the “logout” button to log out from the site.

    If the user doesn’t logout then the plugin will remember the login of the user (for a short time in case the user comes back) and allow access. This is convenient for the members and it is how most good login system works.

    what if someone logs in with a shared computer? Not ideal… I understood it drops a cookie and when closing the browser it kills the session like it really should…
