Add slider in homepage

Where are you wanting the slider to show up?

Our GP Hooks add-on allows you to add this code into your chosen hook so you don’t have to edit any core files – worth checking out.

The easiest option is GP Hooks – or the Page Header add-on if you only want it on one page.

I was thinking to add the slider without any addon.
I wish to add the slider below the main menu.

You’ll want to hook into the “generate_after_header” hook.

You can add your PHP using a plugin like this: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/code-snippets/

Doing it this way (as opposed to editing the core files) will ensure the slider won’t be removed when you update the theme.

For the homepage, you’ll want to do this:
