  • Interesting. What do you do to remove the code?

What plugins do you have installed? I know if this only occurs occasionally, troubleshooting will not be simple. Either disable the plugins one at a time to see if the problem goes away. Or disable all the plugins. If the problem URLs goes away then enable the plugins one at a time until the problem comes back.

Please post what you find. I’m curious about what is going on with your site.

Testing that would be difficult, because the problem happens only ocasionally and randomly.

When the codes appear, I just remove it from the URL in the address bar and hit Enter.

Yes, troubleshooting intermittent actions are a real pain. However, the issue is not likely to fix itself. And you can’t reasonably expect a visitor to remove info from the URL when they get a 404.

Try this: what are both URL values at Dashboard > Settings > General set to, and can you edit them, or are the fields grayed out?

Both URL values are the blog’s address (https://consciencia.blog.br), and can be edited.

You didn’t tell me what plugins you were using. Are you using any caching? if so clear the cache and see what that does with your problem.

Only one of the blogs (veganagente.consciencia.blog.br) uses caching plugin: WP Fastest Cache.

The active plugins both blogs use are:
    AddThis for WordPress
    Akismet
    Better WordPress Google XML Sitemaps
    FeedBurner Form
    Google Analyticator
    Google Plus Badge Follow Box
    SEO Ultimate
    UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
    Widget Alias

Addthis has been known to cause your issue. Check your configuration for that plugin. If it configured correctly deactivate it long enough for a test.

You refer to the /[5-digit weird code]/ ([blog address]/RWRdd/…) or to the hashtagged code on the end of a shared link (for example, [post’s-url]#.VOToejOhB1k)?
