Zanto WP Translation and WordPress SEO

  • Hi, I’m developing a multilanguage website based on WP 4.1, Network mode enabled, with Zanto WP Translation (for Multisites) plugin to manage the 2 website languages (one website for the first language, and a second website in a subfolder, called for example “pl”, for the second language).

    Can I use WordPress SEO for the SEO aspect? Which is the best setup for WordPress SEO? I installed WordPress SEO and I found that the two websites have two different XML sitemaps: is that correct? Is it “safe” for SEO optimization?
    Should I send both sitemaps in Google Webmaster Tools?

    I’m sorry for a lot of questions but this is the first time that I develope this kind of website. Thank you for your support!
