    Does anyone know how to change the background color (particularly the white space in the content area) using the 2014 theme? I came pretty close but it’s driving me nuts. I can’t figure out how to change it to all black. Essentially, I want the entire site to be 0a0a0a (slightly lighter than pure black) with white/grey text.
    Is it even possible to change white background to a different color? I’ve had similar problems with previous WordPress themes.
    Personally, I don’t care for sites with bright, white backgrounds because it’s like staring into a light bulb LOL
    I prefer darker sites because they’re easier to read and you don’t ruin your vision.

    HEEEEELP! ??

    If you’re not using a Child Theme, and if the theme doesn’t have a designated section of the dashboard for CSS modifications then install this Custom CSS Manager plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin

    Then use its “CSS Code” section of the dashboard to hold your CSS modifications:

    Alternatively use your Child Theme style.css file to hold your CSS modifications:

    .site {
        background: black;
    }
