I’m using the floating option and have disabled it on mobile, but it’s still working on the iPad. Is there a way to disable it on tablets as well?

If not, then I will probably have to not use the floating option and try to position it in the header area, but I was having a lot of trouble getting it positioned before I just gave up and used floating. So if I can’t disable it on tablets then I’ll have some more questions for you ??

Thanks sunspots. Currently we only offer disabling on mobile, but we’ll take it up as an improvement suggestion to disable on tablets as well. By the way, you know that you can also place the icons via the shortcode [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS]? Maybe that gives you some flexibility in placing the icons. Cheers, John

Hi Sunspots, did the shortcode work? I close the topic now, but we’ll look into the disabling on tablets as I mentioned last week.

Yes, it worked, once I added some code to position it properly. I was being lazy ??

    Thank you, great plugin.

Any updates on this? I was using the float centre-right option and it looked great on desktop, but terrible on iPad. (I also tried using float bottom-right, but it was stuck at the bottom of the page, not the bottom of the screen.) I have the icons in my footer, but it would be nice to have them float on the side. Unfortunately so many people use tablets that I can’t have floating enabled.

What you can do now is that you define exactly the position where they float. We introduced this feature 2 weeks ago. Does that make a difference?

Could it be that it’s a template thing?

I updated the plugin and tried putting in custom numbers, but it didn’t seem to do anything.
