• Hi and thanks for your beautiful plugin!

I have applied a value of 400 on “Height > Pixels to remove” and it works OK on Android and Ipad reducing effectively image height in post pages…. but it do not works in desktop browsers (Chrome or Safari for Mac) because the featured image in post pages do not reduces its height and stays as original… some idea ti fix it?

I′m using Genesis Framework 2.1.2 in conjunction with Genesis Sample Theme.

Do you have a link you can share? This setting works for me using Chrome on a Mac, so I’m not able to see what might be happening for you.

Using a number that large, however, I would suggest that instead of using this setting, you might use a CSS based approach instead, as suggested in the FAQ. The number you use on the settings page does not take into account different device or screen sizes, so on phones, 400 pixels means that your image will probably disappear entirely. If you set a max-height on the .big-leader instead, that may be more in line with what you are wanting to accomplish.

    Please keep me posted–thank you!

I’ve checked your site in both Chrome and Safari on Mac (Yosemite), and the images are being reduced in height as coded, so I am still not sure what you are seeing–I’m sorry!

I do think, however, you probably want to consider changing the setting to a smaller number, or even 0, and adjusting the height of the container using CSS instead.
