How can I have different user field requirements for users at site creation?

    I have a multisite where I have some required custom fields (Cimy User Extra Fields)at time of site creation. This is working great. However, now I have a problem with subscriber level users registering at subsites. Even though the subscriber form does not include the extra fields for site creation, we get an error message that the data fields are required.

    How can I fix this so that non admins do not need to provide the extra site creation fields?

    How are users registering at subsites? By default for WP, you can only register at the network level.
