I am running a multisite installation on my local machine with PHP 5.5.9, Ububntu 14, and Apache 2.4.7, and I have installed the ThreeWP Broadcast and ThreeWP Broadcast Groups plugins and network activated them. I have created a group and added 3 of the network sites to the group.

When I create a new post from the root site, I can see the meta box for sharing posts, and I can see the drop down for groups with the group that I created. If I select that group and then publish/update the post, it does not get shared with that group. I turned on debug, and it runs fine, but the last message that appears says “No blogs are selected. Not broadcasting anything.” I am also having an issue with the ThreeWP Broadcast plugin creating redirect loops, which I thought was responsible for this issue, but it seems that it is a separate issue. How can I resolve the groups issue?

When you selected the group, did any of the blogs in the list get checked?

No. They weren’t getting checked. I found an issue with $this->paths[‘url’] pulling in the wrong path and throwing 500 errors on all the javascript and css files. This was likely due to the fact that I have the plugins folder symlinked in my install. I tweaked the code to work for my local install to get functions like unlink posts to work, and now I see that was also causing issues with the group broadcasting. I had not realized that functionality was using javascript. Looks like it’s working for me now. Thanks.

    This is resolved.
