Duplicate time slot check

  • Is there a way to make sure two people can not fill the same time slot. I found the ability to select last name/first name/phone/email to prevent duplicates but was wondering if there was a quick way to make sure that once someone selects a time slot that the plugin would remove that timeslot from the selection of available times/days

    Any direction or help would be appreciated. I tried hunting down the options class, but I couldn’t quite figure out what to edit without breaking something.

    You won’t be able to do something like this just using a matching option like a name or an email, it’s much more complicated than that when you’re talking about things like times and dates.

    One way to do this would use a custom plugin that adds a new validation method that would be app;lied when a new record is submitted. The hooks are there, but it will certainly require a skilled WP coder to get it done.
