  • You can try my fix here as it looks like you have your calendar in a widget: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/tooltips-in-wigets-broken-in-22?replies=4

    Looping through widget data is a bit above my head. If I knew where to paste those changes, I could probably figure it out. Thanks though.

    Are you using the Google Calendar Events widget that comes with the plugin or are you using a shortcode inside of a text widget or something similar?

    Sane thing happening with me. Had troubleshooted the calendar for months, finally figure out the problem and got it up and running again about a month ago and was super happy, but then installed the plugin upgrade yesterday and now my calendar is not working again ??

    No tooltips, can’t advance months, etc. I am using shortcode, not a widget.

    The daily calendar I have in list view in the footer seems to be working and is unaffected. The problem seems to be only with the monthly calendar:

    I just tried setting up a test page to troubleshoot… the calendar works on the test page, but doesn’t work on the real page… I don’t understand?

    Works here:

    @wigglepit,

    It works on both pages when I just looked. Am I missing something? What in particular is not working?

    I figured out that it no longer cooperates with my theme. If the calendar shortcode is added in the general content area in WordPress, it will work. But if I add the shortcode for the calendar inside of a column or another segment of my theme’s “drag and drop” page builder, it no longer works.

    It USED to work, before the upgrade, but not now. Can I revert back or something?

    For a temporary fix, I have moved the calendar to the top of my page so it doesn’t have to be within a column shortcode for my theme, but that’s not at all how I wanted the page formatted.

    Sorry I updated it when you saw it with a temporary fix (see above) where I placed the calendar at the top of my page.

    Here, check this out if you want to troubleshoot it, I just updated it:

    I’m experiencing the same issues:

    Using the shortcode to add to a php template page.

    Works on the “View” from the admin page:

    Hi I am getting the same problem the widget works fine in grouped list mode but when the Grid display is used the tooltips and previous/next month buttons no longer work. I have version 2.2.0 installed and the problem started after the upgrade.

    On a test site I have an old version 2.1.1 installed and this is working just fine with both Grid and Grouped List widgets So I assume there is a bug in 2.2.0? It would be great if this could be fixed so our users can get their calendar back! Many thanks the plugin is very useful.

    We just pushed 2.2.1 to fix some issues with the CSS/JS and the calendar ID encoding. Please try updating to that and then let me know if you are still having troubles after that.

    Thanks!

    Fixed the issues with the Back/Next month loading, but still not getting the tooltips to appear. Suggestions?

    @alanwojo,

    Do you have the option to “Show tooltips” checked?

    Yes, I do. Even tried turning them off and then back on. No change.

    Could you post a link to your site so I can check it out?
