Theme appearance not correct

    I performed a theme upgrade for Food Recipes (child theme). Following the upgrade, the appearance/format changed and it does not match in ANY WAY the appearance or format of the Active Version. I don’t recognize the new appearance and I do not want it. It is supposed to be a recipe sharing theme and the recipe function isn’t even an option anymore. I have tried getting help from the author/creator support site but I have hit a dead end.
