    Hi,

That’s because there’s a so called “non-breaking space” (or   if you will) placed in between a fair few words in your article, this will make the word match up with the next word as one really long word, which is why the line break pushes it down.

    Thread Starter Wojciech Diechtiar

    (@rrememba)

Marius, this is not the case.

In the example I gave above there is no   between “pozyskiwanie” and “kontaktów” words.

    czyli pozyskiwanie kontaktów, i?zobaczmy

There is, I have a look at your site (it’s in the source, it won’t show up in the regular view), this is what the line looks like when viewing the code:

We?my dla przyk?adu na warsztat pierwszy etap cyklu marketingowego, czyli pozyskiwanie kontaktów, i zobaczmy, czy mo?na zwi?kszy? efektywno?? swoich dzia?ań dzi?ki Internetowi.

As you can see there’s two instances where it is used, this can happen when copying off a different source (for example another site, some times with copying from Word documents and the likes).

There’s two ways to get rid of it, in the post editor either remove the text and type it out again, or go into Text mode (the tab with the label Text in the top right of the editor) and remove the   pieces from in between the texts.

I copied this from the editor in text mode:

We?my dla przyk?adu na warsztat pierwszy etap cyklu marketingowego, czyli pozyskiwanie?kontaktów, i zobaczmy, czy mo?na zwi?kszy? efektywno?? swoich dzia?ań dzi?ki Internetowi.

The only non-breaking space is between “i” and “zobaczymy”, and there is none between “pozyskiwanie” and “kontaktów”. There is plenty of room for “pozyskiwanie” in the end of line above it but for an unknown reason it’s been moved to the second line.

What Clorith said is correct, you need to try to be patient to the answers.

Remove the   first and perhaps any other funny breaks will fall back in line.

Below is a screenshot showing your post still has a bunch of non-breaking space

Thank you for all your suggestions but I still insist that the problem is not due the non-breaking space.

I know I’m new on this forum, but I have I believe more then 8 years of experience using WordPress and even more dealing with web programming and DTP.

I really know what non-breaking space does and how to use it.

What I see here is a problem with text rendering, and certainly not with nbsp.

Please stick to the example I provided in the first post. I repeat that there is no nbsp beetween marked words, see exaple in the first post.

    Take a closer look.

Again, thank you for your willingness to help me with that.

You are correct that the non breaking space next to that word I singled out earlier is now gone, but the word is still longer than the allotted screen real estate given to the paragraph tags in your theme.

Your theme only lets text go as far as the featured image on top of the article, you’ll see that the word would go outside the boundary, and as such is pushed to a new line.

    Thread Starter Wojciech Diechtiar

    (@rrememba)

To make you things easier – in the new post I didn’t use a single nbsp and yet you can still see the right side of text is very jagged.

Just take a look at this:

    https://internetnetworkmarketer.pl/blog/subtelna-sztuka-wypinania-sie/

I’ve marked a few problems with red rectangles here:

    https://internetnetworkmarketer.pl/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/2015-03-07-13-59-47.png

Text container has nothing to do with words being pushed to a new line with no apparent reason in this case.

    Any suggestions?

    (@rrememba)

Has anyone experienced this problem or I’m the only unfortunate one here?

    Moderator Marius L. J.

    (@clorith)

I’m sorry, but again the words you are referring to have the non-breaking space in them when I view the source of your site.

You should try disabling any plugins that interact with the content and see if the problem persists (it’s also worth trying one of the default themes as the theme might be doing this).

When testing to see if it still works, make a new post as it might have edited the existing content instead of making modifications on the fly.

    (@rrememba)

You are making fun of me, aren’t you? The only nbsp in the source code is one in an empty paragraph, as shown here:

    Hey,

Marius isn’t making fun of you.

Take a look at my screenshot, the non breaking spaces are in dark grey

    (@rrememba)

OK, I see. Now that’s really weird. How on earth I’m suppose to debug this if my browser doesn’t show those nbsp’s?

Thank you very much for help. I will make some tests, disable plugins and switch to default theme. Will see what happens.

    Thanks again!

Are you writing the content in some other program?

Try pasting the content into Notepad first to clear all unwanted formatting

Use Chrome’s Inspector to see these non breaking spaces

    Thread Starter Wojciech Diechtiar

    (@rrememba)

I write in the default WP editor in WYSWIG or in HTML mode, depending what I want to accomplish at the moment. Sometimes I copy and paste from a (pure) text editor. There is no way I would place those nbsp’s purposefully.

The Source Code View in Chrome doesn’t show any nbsp’s. I can see them only after saving page to a file and opening it in code editor or in Code Inspector. WordPress editor in HTML mode doesn’t show them either.
