    I have definitely linked the problem to the this plugin:

    iThemes Exchange: Simple WP Ecommerce

    Unfortunately I have to use this plugin as I am building a paid membership section after I finish the store.

    Hoping that I can use the exchange store functions in the same way as this plugin, unless there is a workaround.

    What if you enable the Automatic redirection to checkout page, what would happen?

    Interesting situation here. Maybe my situation can add info to help getting this figured out.

    I have been using this cart plugin with no issues, but the site owner decided we need woocommerce after a few years of growth. (still love your plugin though)

    So I installed woo and immediately had the issue of adding to cart would bring a 404 with the Simple Cart store. I double checked my woo had no page urls that could interfere with the simple cart process. I even added the redirect to page url in simple cart settings with no luck. I adjusted php versions from the original 5.4, checked redirects, changed urls of the pages. Im at a loss.

    I do not need a solution in my case. I simply will make a dev site to do my work, but I hope my info assists in solving your issue jhawtin.

    I talked with the developers at Woocommerce and they informed me that the scripts compete directly, and there is no workaround, you have to choose one or the other unfortunately.

    I am going to end up going with woocomerce by itself.
