frozen front/home page in Legenda theme

Hi & HELP – I was building the front page of a Legenda theme website. All was going well until suddenly I cannot edit the front/home page anymore. I have the page in edit form but none of the elements are allowing me to edit them. I can see the pencil icon, rubbish bin icon etc, but nothing happens when I select them…nothing! I cannot recall changing any settings.
Anyone have this happen as well?????
