Integration of Sharepoint and WordPress

I have a local businessman asking for help on his WordPress. He has mentioned that Sharepoint is involved.

Reading an old closed thread I am seeing that this integration was not possible, then. Is it now?

Anyone have any links? I am completely new to Sharepoint.
