    … you should include a mail alert. I know it sounds kind of not necessary, as new alerts would only occur while you are updating either this plugin or other plugins. But we use a tool which can update our sites from the distance. So we basically never see the plugin directory on the particular site (or at least not that often ;)) .

    It should be easy to let wp-cron send out a warning to the admin if an alert occurs.

    Besides that I really like the idea behind the plugin!

    Thanks for your suggestion. This is something we have been working on, but it is actually more complicated that just setting up a cron job because not everyone is going to want or need that feature and potentially sending repeated warnings for the same issue would be a problem. Today’s release includes the feature, which can be enabled on the Plugin Vulnerabilities page. If anyone has a problem with it please get in touch with us.
