  • My website is https://www.trugundschein.org. It seems that spamhammer is blocking all comments whatsoever in theme twenty fifteen for me. When people try to post a comment on a blog, they do not even get a submission report. I never see it in the comments under needs moderation or spam or trash. When I turn off spamhammer, they can post comments as usual. Any ideas?

Andrew, thank you for reporting this. I was able to locate the source of the problem and fix it. Upgrade to 4.1.2 and you’re set.

Hi wpspamhammer! Thank you for trying but it looks like it still does not work. I still have to deactivate spamhammer to enable comments on my blog. (Very unhappy about this as spamhammer is wonderful at proptecting from unwanted junk!) I wonder if this piece of information may help: I ordered the product that removes the logos as soon as I saw how effective your plug is, but it jammed when I did so. Although the order seems to have gone through, the logo is still visible on my admin site. Perhaps that is a clue? I appreciate you trying to find a solution here.

This is not a bug; your single blog is intermittently using two domains trugundschein.org and umkc.edu; this can cause problems.

Your addon order came from the latter domain, so all parts of the cloud service expect you to use that domain. If you don’t, the system gets confused.

If you don’t use that, for all intents and purposes the system sees your blog as a totally separate site, which by default has no addons.

This is why you are still seeing the icon. The ideal fix is for you to choose one domain, update wp’s settings, and htaccess-redirect the other domain to that.

If the chosen domain is not umkc.edu, email [email protected] with your authentication token and chosen domain name.

This area is for bug fixes only, not support, so I can’t go any further, but I trust you can resolve the issue with this information.
