Breadcrumb Problem

    Hello,

    I hope you can help me. I am using the breadcrumb function of the plugin wordpress seo from Yoast.

    I activated the function breadcrumb.
    On all pages it works, but not on the events detail pages.

    It should for example look like that:

    Home ? TRIZ Schulung ? TRIZ Strategie & Forecast
    but it looks always like that
    Home ? Veranstaltungen ? TRIZ Strategie & Forecast

    “TRIZ Schulung” is the main navi item and it has several submenu items, which are events detailed pages.

    On the “TRIZ Schulung” page, which is the preinstalled events page, I have add my own html (removed CONTENT). on the seo tool I have tell, that the breadcrumb is “TRIZ Schulung”, but it shows always only “Veranstaltungen”.

    If I open the page “TRIZ Schulung”, the breadcrumb is correct, it shows: Home ? TRIZ Schulung

    Do you have an advice how I can change that?

    Hi Angelo,
    no that is not helping me, as it just adds the currently viewed event at the end. But this already works. Maybe anyone can help me with the problem mentioned on my first post? Many thanks for any advice!!

    just to confirm, “TRIZ Schulung” is your events page and not “Veranstaltungen “?

    TRIZ Schulung is the page (normal page within the page tab in wordpress), that was generated by the events manager plugin when I installed it. Before its name was “Veranstaltungen”. I changed the name to TRIZ Schulung and the breadcrumb titel to TRIZ Schulung. I put my text in the page and left CONTENT below.

    This is workng, because when I open the page, the breadcrumbs are
    Home ? TRIZ Schulung

    The navigation looks like that:

    Triz Schulung
    – Eventsdetailpage 1
    – Eventdetailspage 2
    etc.

    For all the Eventsdetailpages the breadcrumb is not correct.
    It should look like that:

    Home ? TRIZ Schulung ? Eventdetailspage 1
    but it looks always like that
    Home ? Veranstaltungen ? Eventdetailspage 1

    Please help me :-))

    do you have any caching plugin installed?

    Does this work correctly with the default WordPress theme?

    I do not know. The site is already online. In the past I had a lot of problems by switching themes, so I am scared to test this.
