    Hi.

I had a full WP install until half an hour ago. Was creating a FTP account, I typoed in the working directory, so I deleted the user and its files, in which the WP installation was included…

I have no manual backup neither does my provider because host gator backup policies suck.

But I still have the DB. If I were to make a fresh P install on the same location, would I recocer the site?

From what I believe if you have the database that’s good… if there was nothing on the site you should be able to just do a fresh install and import the database.

But, if you had a bunch of info on the site you would need the wp-content folder from old site to replace all that.

Hope this helps answer you question.

Quick question though is all you did was delete the ftp user.. not the site or anything else?

I deleted the user WITH the option to delete its content and its directory was in that WP folder. so it got deleted. will try to install and import DB. thanks.
