    Hello,

We did not yet implement the Help topics at this point.
it is however on our todo list (i am assuming by version 1.2.8 we will have implemented this feature).

    Did you schedule 1.2.8 release?

I find this feature is critical one

1.2.8 isn’t scheduled as we are still working on 1.2.7 (that been delayed).
however we normally release a version each month.

To call it critical feature it basically depends on how you use Ticket systems
most just come with Department listing, it’s why we did not find a great urgency to implement help topics vs for example Multi language, attachments etc.

In essense we just slowly work down a list of things we, and plugin users want to see. Help topics are about next inline.

    Thanks for great contributions.

BTW, currently Key4ce osTicket Bridge completely crippled whether for trunk or recent release (1.2.6).

    It doesn’t work at all.

PS. I made ton of tests and I found it broken

BTW, osTicket sends the notification but when I open the admin account (or the agent) I can’t find any ticket.

I can say our plugin works fine on all our sites (and test sites).

so i am fairly certain you must have a configuration issue or conflict in there somewhere. (usually with another plugin or theme though 1.2.7 whats in the trunk should have prefix functions only so less chance on conflict).

The DB variables you put in is with a user having read and write access to the osticket database?

    osticket version is set correctly?

for Conflicts: make a copy of your existing site and disable plugins then see if it works.

    OMG, Silly me.

I forgot to set Osticket Version: > 1.9.4

I’m just rolling out osTicket for my company portal, and since the custom forms and help topics are a key part of why we’re using a help desk kind of solution, it means that I can’t use your plugin just yet.

But I will say – I installed it, it’s lovely, works GREAT – if all we needed was the standard form and different departments, I’d totally be set. As it is, we’ll roll out with a WordPress portal and an osTicket helpdesk that looks totally different and hopefully in the not too distant future we’ll be able to use this excellent plugin and make everything WAY better.

    I’m looking forward to it!

    Hello,

Help topic functionality is available at the new version 1.3.0
please note it’s only the initial release

i expect a sub-version update in the upcoming week to make the help topic dependent on department selected (currently it only shows all help topics).

    Regards,
    Marco
