One thing I would say though is that the background of the content section completely obscures the mountains until you get to the comments
Yeah, I was wondering if I should make the background semi-transparent for the post itself as well… jury’s still out (I kind of like the fact that the post is the only thing on the entire page that looks ‘solid’, thus drawing attention to it) – of course, it hardly appears at all in IE, but I don’t care… Like I wrote in the post after a long rant against IE bastardising the Standards [translated for your convenience], “If you still decide to use IE, so be it. But it’s your own fault that you’re missing out on some of the fancy little gimmicks I added here and there :o)”
and you may want to notch the header contrast up a tiny wee bit
Hmm… which header to you mean? The one with the blog title at the top? You think it’s too weak?
I have this thing with contrasts – I love scales of grey in website, and I use very few colours (as you can see), but the result is often that the more I fiddle with my CSS, the lighter and more monotonously grey the whole thing becomes… I had actually set the entire body of both posts and comments to grey (#999;) before deciding to switch back to black ’cause it all got too light…
But the blog name at the top is meant to look a bit like a watermark, be inconspicuous…
and don’t forget your lovely tasty spider food (meta tags)…
Oops, right you are… urgh, I hate doing that, I know so little about the whole system and thus suck at it… ??
i spotted kunal… ??
what language is that?
Kunal? Erm………….. Indian of some sort? I think they’re Jai (or however it’s spelled), but I really don’t know what language they speak, other than it’s Hindi of some sort…
And if you’re referring not to Kunal, but the rest of the site, may I refer to my previous post: “You actually bothered to go through a whole [long] page of Danish? Or did you just happen to spot the name Kunal by chance?”
