How to add an ad to the header

So, if you don’t understand HTML, you should probably get some background knowledge, because what you should do is create a child theme, then add your ad code to a copy of the header.php file. You should avoid modifying the theme files directly because any future updates to the theme will erase your changes.

The easiest way to do this is to install a plugin called WP Insert. Go to “Tracking Codes” and insert the ad there.
