Events list in page not working

  • The Events plugin seems quite simple to use. We’ve built quite a large library of event info.

    However, I’m unable to create an Events Page as described elsewhere on this site. I”ve create a new page and added [events_show type="week"] to that page, but when I view the page, All I see is the page title and info about the person posting, followed by a ‘Read more’ link.

    I think the Event plugin must be working, because when I deactivate it, the [events_show type="week"] text is displayed. When I reactivate the plugin, that code entry is not shown. So it seems the Event plugin is active, but it’s not displaying any event records.

    Can someone suggest where I should look to troubleshoot this issue? There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of configuration options for the plugin, so I don’t think I’ve accidentally turned a feature off.
