Author Field missing

I previously had the author field in the Posts page. But now its gone. I have tried many tricks to get it to screen options. Like disabling many plugins. But nothing seemed to get it back. Also tried to add few screen options plugins which were of no use.

Any idea how to get it to display in screen options?
