500 Internal Server Error when activating theme.

    Hello Guys! Hope you’re having a good day!

    Days ago I purchased Elegance Theme from YeahThemes! I uploaded the theme file via ftp and when I activated it, it made my wordpress dashboard to crash.
    I had to manually change the theme via Plesk and my dashboard came back. So it’s a problem with the theme.
    I contacted the theme developers and they asked me for my credentials but it’s been 2 days since and I haven’t had any answer.

    I was wondering if there’s a way to fix it myself, what could the problem with this theme be?
    Any suggestions?
