I’m trying to add a logo and a background/featured image, but for some reason it ALWAYS stretches it to be full width. I’m tried editing the CSS, but no matter what I do, the logo is full width above the Nav and the background image is stretch just beyond the edge of the screen.

I just want the logo to be about the same size as the text-based blog title would be and the background image to ONLY fill the darker center of its pane.

What should I change to lock their sizes so I don’t have this issue any more?

    Little help?

Here’s a photoshop mockup of what I’m trying to accomplish:

I really appreciate any help you can give me.

Update: For some reason, I can set a logo max-width in em but not pixels. That seems to be working for now, but I’m still at a loss for how to limit the width of the background image.
