CSS main navigation sub menu appearing behind content

    The main navigation’s dropdown menus are appearing behind the content.
    I tried modifying the z-index but it is not working (?)
    One interesting thing to note is that it was working correctly until I placed a menu with more than one level onto the content region.

    resolved, instead of modifying the menu’s z-index I changed the header’s z-index which did the trick.
