Publish Button Disappearing from the Custom Post type I created

    I create few custom post for a website.

    It was working very well but after 2-3 days when I tried to update content I found that there is no publish button in it.

    In few other custom post on the same site it shows the publish button but in one particular post type it doesn not work

    I attached the screenshot of the console error I am getting hope that helps.

    Please let me know what I need to do I update the plugin to the latest version and I am using WordPress Twenty Fourteen Theme.

    Hrm. Looks like somehow the cptui.js file is poking its head in places I don’t need it, and at least in your case, being loaded in the <head> area instead of the intended end of page, causing errors. Sorry about that.

    If you want me to, I can create a patched version of 1.0.4 to see if that helps clear up the issue, and if it does, I’ll commit the same changes to my next bug release.

    Would be more than happy if you could create a patch version in it. I have a website to complete and without the publish button I am not moving forward at all.

    I gave it its own folder name so you won’t need to re-install CPTUI 1.0.4 again later, it’s also going to have “Asrjt Hotfix” in the listing in your WP Admin.

    I would recommend disabling the current plugin before you enable this one though, to avoid plugin name conflicts. Just reverse the order to go back to the original one if you need to.

    If this works like expected, I’ll get it committed for the 1.0.5 release that I have working in my head ??

    thanks for the patch.

    I disabled the CPTUI plugin then I installed the new patch then activated it but that publish options is still not working.

    Same issue…

    Would you be willing to let me into the admin to see if I can determine anything? If yes, I’ll also need you to enabled SCRIPT_DEBUG in your wp-config file temporarily to help debug the issue, and I can help you with that part.

    Checked on some things, and it looks like you have a number of js errors going on, but I stayed at it long enough to clean out any caused by our plugin, that I can identify.

    I left the “hotfix” version activated, and the same changes in it will be in 1.0.5, so it’d be fine to switch once that’s out.
